Hindalco Industries Q2 results on Oct 18

New Delhi, Oct 3 (UNI) Hindalco Industries Ltd today said its Board of Directors will meet on October 18 to consider the unaudited financial results of the company, for the second quarter ended on September 30, 2006.

The company earlier had posted a net profit of Rs 601.50 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 379.20 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005.

Its total income also increased to Rs 4,351 crore from Rs 2,240 crore during the period.
