Four kg heroin seized in Punjab

Amritsar, Oct 3 (UNI) The Special Narcotics Cell's slueths seized four kg of heroin from a Maruti car parked near the one of the terminal of the international bus stand here and arrested three occupants of the car.

Inspector Jasveer Singh said yesterday, on suspicion, police searched the Maruti car and recovered the contraband.

He said the occupants of the car identified as Harvinder Singh, Karnal Singh and Charan Singh were waiting in the car to deliver the consignment.

He said that the value of the seized heroin is around four crore in the international market.
