CM lays foundation stone for World Military Games village

Hyderabad, Oct 3 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today laid the foundation stone of the games village for the fourth Military World Games to be held here next year.

Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister of State for Defence Pallam Raju thanked the Chief Minister for the proactive steps being taken by the state for the prestigious event being held for the first time in the country, hitherto held only in Europe.

The games village would be constructed on 9.16 acre of land in the premises of the Hyderabad Central University.
