Chitradurga Zilla Panchayat member commits suicide

Davangere, Karnataka, Oct 3 (UNI) A Chitradurga Zilla Panchayat member today committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling of his house in Chitradurga.

Police said the reason for Venkatesh, a second time member, taking the extreme step was not known. He was also associated with Sri Kabirananda Swamy Mutt activities.
