Chennai bound Air Mauritius diverted to Hyderabad

Chennai, Oct 3 (UNI) A Chennai-bound Air Mauritius flight from Port Louis, with 179 passengers on board, was diverted to Hyderabad due to bad weather conditions here this morning.

Airport sources said as Chennai city experienced heavy rains, accompanied by thunder and lightning, the flight scheduled to land at 0200 hrs at the Anna International airport was diverted to Hyderabad.

After the weather conditions improved, the flight landed here from Hyderabad at around 0615 hrs and later left for Mauritius at around 0730 hrs.
