BJP demands all-party meet on farmers' problems

Hyderabad, Oct 3 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) State President N Indrasena Reddy today demanded the Andhra Pradesh Government to convene an all party meeting to discuss various problems of the farmers.

Addressing a press conferce here, Mr Reddy alleged the state government had not taken any initiatives to solve the problems of the farmers in the last two and half years and failed to provide compensation to the families of farmers who commited suicide.

He also demanded the government to take measures to avoid proposed strike by the employees of the State Road Transport Corpoation.
