Badri, Kedar to close from Nov 16, Oct 24 resp

Dehra Dun, Oct 3: Badrinath Dham will be closed for the public from November 16 and Kapat of Kedarnath Dham will be closed from October 24 for winter season.

Chairman of Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee Anusuyia Prasad Maikhuri told sources that more than seven lakhs pilgrims visited Badrinath Dham this season and about Rs. five crore counted till today. Meanwhile more than five lakh devotees have visited Kedarnath Dham and there has been the earning of more than Rs. two crore in this season so far, he apprised.
