JK CM Azad adopts orphan, to sponsor his education

Srinagar, Oct 3: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has adopted an orphan from the border district of Kupwara.

When Mr Azad came to know about the brilliance and the performance of the orphan, Ishfaq Ahmed Malik, in his school, he immediately decided to adopt him.

The Chief Minister will sponsor Malik's education.

This was announced at a function on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti at the Sheri Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) here last evening.
