Assembly adjourned after obitaury references
Jaipur, Oct 3 (UNI) The special session of the Rajasthan Assembly, which began here today, was adjourned after obituary references.
Speaker Sumitra Singh read out the obituary of 21 people who died between the previous session and the present one. They included former speaker of the Rajasthan Assembly Poonam Chand Vaishnoi, Nathuram Ahari, a six-time MLA and sitting member of the present Assembly,former MLAs Sriram Gotewala, Khem Raj Katara, Jai Narayan Salodhia, RP Sharma, Mohanlal Chittodia, Nanakram Jagatrai, Ram Prasad, Narendra Pal Singh, Kishan Singh Bhati, Prabhulal Centre, Kesari SIngh, Chaturbhuj Upadhaya and Ustad Bismillah Khan.
The house also expressed condolences to the bereaved families of those killed in the recent flood in Barmer district. The Congress members demanded that the House make a reference to the 48 people killed in tank collapse at Kama town in Bharatpur district. The speaker agreed to include it in the next day's proceedings.
