As many as 596 members participated in NCDEX trading

Mumbai, Oct 3 (UNI) As many as 596 members (2,971 users) participated in the trading of National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) till 1700 hrs today and volumes worth Rs 3,479 crore (one-way) were traded.

There were 94,650 trades put through by them. Active trades were in guarseed, pepper, chana, chilli, gold and urad desi, according to an NCDEX release.

On Saturday, about 540 members had participated in trading and put through 57,950 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 1400 hrs was about Rs 2,136 crore (one-way). Active trades were in guarseed, chana, pepper, chilli, jeera and urad desi, the release added.
