33-year-old woman immolates self

New Delhi, Oct 3 (UNI) A 33-year-old woman allegedly immolated herself by pouring kerosene on herself in Uttam Nagar area of West Delhi early today.

Munni Devi locked herself in a kerosene depot, adjacent to her residence in Mohan Garden near Uttam Nagar, and set herself on fire after dousing self with the inflammable liquid, said sources.

Police were informed after neighbours noticed smoke coming out of the depot, the burnt body of the woman was recovered later.

Munni, whose husband Vijay Prasad (39) is a tempo driver, was diagnosed of brain tumour yesterday.
