Two minor tremors felt in MP

Barwani, MP, Oct 2 (UNI) Two minor tremors were today experienced in two villages at Silavad area in this west Madhya Pradesh town, Collector Arun Tiwari said today.

A tremor, measuring 2.4 on the Ritcher scale, was experienced at Hirkray village at 0803 hrs, while another tremor, measuring 1.7 on the Ritcher scale, was experienced in Panchkula Dakshin village.

No loss of life or property was reported.

Panchkula Dakshin village sarpanch Mangu Banjra said the tremors shook the walls of houses, while utensils in homes fell down and people came out of their houses.

Barwani lies in Sukta Fault Zone 3.
