Thane to host Ranji match at Dadoji Konddeo: Vichare

Thane, Oct 2 (UNI) Mayor Rajan Vichare said today that the city will host a Ranji match at the Dadoji Konddeo stadium in the ensuing season.

He made this announcement at the 24th anniversary of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC), held at the Gadkari Rangayatan last night.

He said a number of events are planned including a Ranji match.

It was since a long time that the Ranji match had not been played at the Dadoji Konddeo stadium.

He said the Mahapour Rajni will be held this year after a long period. Additionally, a cultural festival of a couple of days would be held soon.

TMC was the only corporation in the country, which has received a direct funding from World Bank for civic projects worth Rs 421 crore.
