Rainfall lashes MP

Bhopal, Oct 2 (UNI) Rainfall lashed Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Chambal divisions of Madhya Pradesh in the past 24 hours, police said today.

Meteorological department said Indore received one cm rainfall overnight. Gwalior turned out to be the hottest place in the state recording a temperature of 37 degrees C, while Shivpuri recorded lowest temperature at 19 degrees C.

Showers accompanied with lightning were forecasted in several parts during the next 24 hours.
