Dengue fever case reported from Shahabad

Kurukshetra, Oct 2 (UNI) A case of dengue fever was confirmed from Shahabad town in this district.

The patient, Sunil Rana, an employee of Shahabad Cooperative Sugar Mill tested positive at AIIMS, New Delhi, where he is undergoing treatment.

According to family members, Sunil was taken to a local medical institute from where he was referred to AIIMS.

Civil Surgeon Dr D S Saini said no other case of dengue fever was reported from the district.

He said two cases of Hepatitis E were reported from Shahabad recently and are being treated.
