CPWD employee dies of fever

Puducherry, Oct 2 (UNI) A 47-year-old employee of the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) died of fever here today.

One Mahendran of Vazhakkulam had fever for the last few days and was treated as an outpatient at the Government General Hospital here.

When he developed fever again today he was brought to the hospital where he was declared dead.

It was not immediately known whether the man was affected by Chikungunya.
