AP, Delhi girls bag gold

Puducherry, Oct 2 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh and Delhi girls bagged the gold in the 400 kg and 440 kg events of the junior national tug of war championship here today.

Manipur and Tamil Nadu bagged the silver and bronze medals respectively in the 400 kg category, while Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka won silver and bronze in the 440 kg event.

In the men's 520 kg event, Punjab will clash with Delhi for the title tomorrow while Andhra Pradesh will lock horns with Maharastra for the third and fourth positions.
