Yemeni forces kill al Qaeda fugitive

SANAA, Oct 1 (Reuters) Yemeni forces today killed an al Qaeda fugitive who was sentenced to death for an attack in which a boat laden with explosives rammed the French oil tanker Limburg in 2002, officials said.

They said Yemeni forces killed Fawaz al-Rabe'ie, who was one of 13 al Qaeda inmates who fled a Yemeni jail earlier this year, in the capital Sanaa.
