Three children drowned

Supaul (Bihar), Oct 1: Three children drowned when boat ferrying them capsized in Kosi river near Phulkaha village under Kishanpur police station in the district.

District police superintendent R P Singh said that incident took place due to overloading of passengers on the ill fated boat yesterday.

About 15 people were travelling on the boat when the incident occurred.

Divers had been pressed into service to fish out the bodies, he added.
