Putin raps Georgia for "state terrorism"
MOSCOW, Oct 1 (Reuters) President Vladimir Putin said today that Georgia's arrest of Russian army officers on spying charges was ''an act of state terrorism with hostage-taking'', Russian agencies reported.
Putin was speaking after a meeting of his security council which discussed the crisis, Russia's worst in relations with its southern neighbour in more than a decade.
