IOC gets new Director, Refineries
New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) India's leading Fortune 500 company IndianOil Corporation Ltd (IOC) has appointed Mr B N Bankapur as Director (Refineries), succeeding Mr Jaspal Singh who superannuated recently.
Prior to this assignment, Mr Bankapur was the Executive Director (Operations) at the company's Refineries headquarters. He is credited with the company's successful foray in the field of petrochemicals.
Mr Bankapur has handled various portfolios in different refineries and at the divisional headquarters of the oil major and possesses a rich experience in the oil sector.
He has also been closely involved in strategic planning and growth of IndianOil through capacity enhancement, value addition and diversification projects.
In his capacity as Executive Director (Operations), Mr Bankapur was instrumental in successful supply of BS-II and Euro III grade petrol and diesel at all IOC refineries.
He is also on the Board of Directors of Chennai Petrochemicals Ltd (CPCL).
