Goa to educate 2500 mentally and physically challenged kids

Panaji, Oct 1 (UNI) The Goa government today announced an ambitious plan to help educate 2,500 mentally and physically challenged children this year.

Disclosing this while laying the foundation for a Rs 66 lakh government primary school building at Dicarpale-Davorlim, Goa Education Minister Elizino Falerio said no child would be deprived of educational facilities in the state.

Plans were afoot on a war-footing to achieve this goal, particularly for the challenged kids even as the government was determined to implement various other schemes for promoting education for all, he added.
