Amarinder extends greetings to people on Dussehra

Chandigarh, Oct 1 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh today extended his warm and heartiest greetings to the people of the Punjab on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra festival.

In his message on the eve of the festival, Capt Singh said that Dussehra symbolises the victory of good over evil and shows us the way of ideal and virtuous living to carve out a healthy and harmonious society.

He said that such festivals not only cement the bonds of communal harmony, universal brotherhood and amity but also bring joy and prosperity.

The Chief Minister appealed to the people to celebrate this joyous occasion in unison with religious fervour and gaiety rising above the petty considerations of caste, creed and colour.
