A K Choudhry takes charges as CS

Patna, Oct 1 (UNI) Senior IAS officer A K Chaudhary had taken over the charges of chief secretary of Bihar as successor of G S Kang.

Mr Choudhary took over the charges following superanuation of Mr Kang yesterday.

Despite holiday owing to the Dussehra festival, Mr Choudhry appeard committed and enthusiastic towards his new task. Mr Choudhry said that along with his team he would work to achieve the targets fixed by the state government as the bureaucrats play a vital role in the developmental work.

He assured proper coordination for better results and said that he would utilise all quarters to get the valuable inputs.

Mr Chaudhury would adorn the highest bureaucratic office of the state for another 10 months as he would attain the superannuation age on July 31 next year.
