Western Railway to run winter special trains
Mumbai, Sep 30 (UNI) The Western Railway has decided to run more winter special trains for various destinations to meet the heavy rush of passengers in view of festival season.
A superfast train between Bandra Terminus and Ahmedabad will depart at 2320 hrs on every Sunday from Bandra and reach Ahmedabad next day morning at 0800 hrs from October 8 to November five. Its pair will depart from Ahmedabad at 2005 hrs on every Saturday and arrive at Bandra next day at 0445 hrs from October 7 to November 4.
The train will halt at Borivali, Surat and Vadodara stations in both directions.
Bandra Terminus-Jammu Tawi superfast weekly special will depart at 2315 hrs on every Saturday from Bandra and reach Jammu at 1000 hrs on Monday from October 7 to November 4. Its pair will depart at 2355 hrs on every Tuesday from Jammu and arrive Bandra at 0810 hrs on Thursday from October 10 to November 7.
This train will have stoppages at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Sawaimadhopur, Mathura Jn, New Delhi, Ambala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Chakki Bank in both directions.
Bandra Terminus-Jodhpur weekly special will depart at 2315 hrs on every Friday from Bandra from October 6 to November 10, while its pair will depart Jodhpur on every Sunday at 0900 hrs from October 8 to November 12. The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Mehsana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Sirohi Road, Jawai Bandh, Falna, Rani, Marwar, Pali Marwar and Luni stations in both directions.
