Punjab Police Inspector convicted in murder case

Jagadhri, Sep 30 (UNI) A Punjab Police Inspector was convicted in a murder case by the Yamunanagar District and Sessions court today.

Inspector Gurmeet Singh alias Pinki was convicted by District and Sessions court Judge Virender Singh on the charges of gunning down a youth named Avtar in Ludhiana on January 7, 2001.

Gurmeet Singh is presently posted as Inspector in Criminal Invetigation Agency.
