Mother-n-Child couples to vie for top honours

Mumbai, Sep 30 (UNI) The grand finale of Multimedia Informatics Mother-n-Child the talent show that aspires to identify and nuture talent in young children will be held here tomorrow.

The sixth edition of the unique event which will pay rich tributes to the 'Eternal Bond' between children and their mothers will witness mothers-children pairs performing jointly on the stage-singing, dancing, mimicry, satire, comic skits, enacting fables, Bollywood theme songs, shlokas, poems and television advertising commercials amongst others- and winning laurels.

The participating children are between two-and-a-half to seven years of age, a release said.

The 'mother n child' event not only brings out the best in the child but also imbibes in them confidence, poise, stage presence, team spirit and also grooms their basic personality. It also gives children the much deserved recognition and a strong platform for their future standings in the field of media and entertainment.

The auditions were held in the premises of schools such as R N Podar, Sailee International, Don Bosco and nurseries like Anandi Playschool, Tiny Steps, Junior Crafting, Blooming Buds and so on.

The grooming sessions for the event were held earlier this week and 40 shortlisted participants were called for the grand rehersals.

The finalists were given tips to improve their performance as well as briefed about the camera angles , stage settings, etc.

Mr Shashank Mane of Multimedia Informatics Pvt Ltd says'', The bonds of motherhood are stronger than any other bond. A mother is also the one who identifies and nutures the talent in a child.

Keeping this in mind, Multimedia Informatics came up with a unique event called 'mother-n-child a chance for an early start to hone the talent in your child.

''Being our third event on Mumbai level we decided to make it even bigger this year by reaching out to maximum schools as possible. And we have managed to get phenomenal response from participating schools and nurseries,'' he added.
