Maoist ultras kill RJD leader

Latehar, Sep 30 (UNI) Maoist insurgents shot dead Rashtriya Janta Dal's (RJD) district secretary Kailash Chandravanshi in Harkha village here last night, police today said.

According to police, one Rajendra Singh of the same village took the assistance of the proscribed naxal outfit CPI (Maoist) to kill Mr Chandravanshi due to some dispute over land property.

An FIR has been filed against Rajendra and his family members who are absonding since the incident took place.

Investigation is on to nab them, police said.
