Lyon go six points clear with win at Sochaux

PARIS, Sep 30 (Reuters) A late Sylvain Wiltord strike sealed a 1-0 win at Sochaux and sent Olympique Lyon six points clear at the top of Ligue 1 today.

Substitute Wiltord exploited a blunder from the home defence to hit the winner from 20 metres on 77 minutes.

Lyon, chasing a sixth successive title, have 22 points from a maximum 24 after eight games.

Second-placed Olympique Marseille, on 16 points, entertain Toulouse tomorrow.
