Liquor vendors to watch 'Munna Bhai' on Oct 2

New Delhi, Sept 30: 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai', creating a buzz for its Munna Bhai-Circuit jokes and 'Gandhigiri' in the film, has inspired even liquor vendors to watch the movie.

Employees of liquor vends of the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) have decided to see the matinee show of the film at 'Delite' cinema here on October 2, Gandhi Jayanti.

Mr Jalal Shrivastava, Managing Director, DSIIDC, says, ''There was no better way for us as a large group to remember collectively what Mahatama Gandhi stood for and watch the film on the 100th anniversary of the 'Satyagraha' movement.'' To ensure that all DSIIDC employees see the film, the entire hall has been booked by the DSIIDC management. Interestingly, the employees have been given the tickets free of cost especially the liquor division, as 'Gandhi Jayanti' is observed as a 'dry day'.

The film has been in the news for joining the race for Oscars as an independent entry.
