Kundapur records 22 cm rain
Bangalore, Sep 30 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.
Monsoon was active over Coastal Karnataka, however weak over North Interior Karnataka.
Rainfall occurred at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.
Very heavy rainfall amounts(cm): Kundapur 22, Bhatkal19.
Heavy rainfall amounts (cm): Subramanya 10, Shirali 7.
Other chief amounts of rainfall(cm): Karkala 6, Mani, Udupi 5 each, Bantwal 4, Mulki, Bhadravathi, Hospet, H.B.Halli, Madikeri 3 each.
Forecast valid until Monday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at many places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Interior Karnataka.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Moderate to heavy rain likely to occur at many places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada districts. Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over Bidar, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bagalkote, Bijapur, Koppal, Bellary,Davanagere, Tumkur, Kolar, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban districts and at isolated places over the remaining districts of the State.
Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rain likely to occur at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka during next48 hours.
Outlook for subsequent two days: Increase in rainfall is expected over North Interior Karnataka and no significant change is expected over the Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.
Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Rain/ thundershowers likely.
