Jeev on a bogey spree, slips to tied 12th spot

Shizuoka, Japan, Sep 30 (UNI) Jeev Milkha Singh struggled miserably with his putting and carded a poor four-over 75 card to slip to tied 12th spot after the penultimate round of the 120 million yen Coca Cola Tokai Classic 2006 golf tournament here today.

After three rounds Jeev totals one-under three over 216 and if five shots off the leader, Hiroo Kawai of Japan.

The UBS Asian tour leader had an ominous start and dropped a double bogey on the first hole and a bogey on the next. He recovered sloghly with a birdie on the third but sank in another bogey on the seventh to make a turn at three over.

He began his back nine again with a bogey and but gained a stroke on the 12th. Last three holes were eventful and while on 16th he fumbled again to drop a stroke, he followed it up a birdie on next.

Jeev's misery ended not before he signed off with a bogey on the 18th.
