Warm farewell to retiring K'taka HC Judge

Bangalore, Sep 29 (UNI) Mr Justice B Padmaraj of the Karnataka High Court was today given a warm farewell by the State Bar Council here.

Though Mr Justice Padmaraj was retiring from service only on October five, a special session of the court and advocates was held to bid farewell to him today as this was his last sitting day.

Bar Council Chairman Y R Sadhashiva Reddy, in his farewell speech, referred to the service rendered by Mr Justice Padmaraj as a lawyer, a district judge and finally as High Court Judge. By his affable manners, the judge had endeared himself to one and all. His infinite patience in hearing matters and encouragement given to junior members had made him one of the most liked judges.

The retiring judge, in his reply, acknolwedged the cooperation and assistance of the lawyers, his colleagues on the bench and others in discharging his duties as a judge.
