Silver, gold falls on bearish global advice

Mumbai, Sep 29: Values of silver and gold fell on bearish global advice in the opening session, traders at the bullion market said.

Following were today's opening spot rates : Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 18,565 Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 9,040, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 9,090.
