Satyam to implement CBS for Punjab

Hyderabad, Sep 29 (UNI) Satyam Computer Services Ltd has signed a ten year contract with Punjab&Sind Bank for implementing and maintaining Core Banking System (CBS), a company release here said.

Under the deal signed for Rs 135 crore, Satyam would provide networking for Punjab&Sind Bank's 500 branches, host its Data Center and Disaster Recovery Center and provide Networking&Facility Management.

"It is one of the leading system integration engagements that the company will execute on such a large scale. It is Satyam's first CBS implementation and one of its largest multi-year facilities management projects in the domestic market", the release said.

The company would also implement and support several systems for the bank, including branch infrastructure, ALM, Trade Finance, Treasury and Government Business Applications and Enterprise Management Solution, the release added.
