Rain or thundershowers likely at several places

Pune, Sep 29 (UNI) The southwest monsoon has been vogorous over Orissa. It has been subdued over Saurashtra and Kutch,Konkan and Goa,Marathwada,coastal and south interior Karnataka and Kerala.

Day tempratures were appreciably above normal in Uttaranchal and Himachal Pradesh and in some parts of Uttar Pradesh and east Rajasthan and were normal in Punjab,Jammu and Kashmir and north west Rajasthan from where the southwest monsoon has been withdrawn.

Heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occure at most places in Orissa,coastal Andhra Pradesh.Heavy rains are likely to occure at most places in Andman and Nicobar Islands and at many places in Vidarbha,Chattisgarh,Telangana.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occure at many places in east Uttar Pradesh and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh,Assam and Meghalaya,Nagaland,Manipur,Mizoram Tripura,West Bengal and Sikkim,Jharkhand,Bihar,Konkan and Goa,Madhya Maharashtra,Marathwada, Rayalseema,coastal Karnataka,Kerala and at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh,west Madhya Pradesh,Tamil Nadu,interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep and mainly dry weather prevail over the west Uttar Pradesh,Uttaranchal,Haryana,Punjab,Himachal Pradesh,Jammu and Kashmir,Rajasthan and Gujrat State.

Heavy rains occured at most places in Orissa and at a few places in coastal Andhra Pradesh.Very light rain have occured at isolated places in Bihar,west Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh.
