Prassana to be honoured with lifetime achievemen award

Kolkata, Sep 29 (UNI) Legendary spinner Erapalli Prassana has been conferred with Castrol Lifetime achievement award while promising teenager Piyush Chawla has been named the Junior cricketer of the year.

Jhulan Goswami, the fastest bowler in women's Cricket, has been bestowed with a Special Award for her outstanding bowling during the recent tour of England.

For the best crickreter of the year five players- Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Virender Sehwag, Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh- have been shortlisted.

The Castrol Cricketer of the Year Award and Outstanding performance awards for curent cricketers will be given away in Johannesburg, in December during the India-South Africa series.
