New CMD for ECIL

Hyderabad, Sep 29 (UNI) K S Prabhakar Rao today took over as Chairman and Managing Director of Electronic Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), the torchbearer of Indian electronics, a public sector undertaking under the department of Atomic Energy.

Previously, he was Executive Director for Control and Automation and Information Technology and Telecom Groups.

Mr Rao was was the recipient of an award from Ministry of Information Technology for the distributed control systems and DSIR award for software development for simulators, a press release said here.
