Lee Cooper, Indus form JV to mkt products exclusively in India
Mumbai, Sep 29 (UNI) Lee Cooper Group Limited has formed a 50:50 joint venture with Indus League Clothing Limited, a Future Group company, to hold an exclusive license to market Lee Cooper's products in India.
The business of the joint venture will be to develop lifestyle and fashion products under the Lee Cooper brand in India, said a release here today.
The joint venture will engage in wholesale and retail franchising activities for the purpose of marketing and distributing products of the Lee Cooper brand. It shall also undertake retailing of Lee Cooper brand products subject to necessary approvals.
Lee Cooper Group Limited CEO Asia Pacific Michael Capper said, ''The Pantaloon Group is the largest retail group in India and its group company, Indus League (our partner for the JV) has a superlative reputation for apparel brand management.
