Kidnapped industrialist freed, gangsters arrested

Patiala, Sep 29 (UNI) Punjab Police have arrested three gangsters after a daylong operation and rescued an industrialist, Gobind Kumar Goel of Udham Singh Nagar in Uttaranchal, who was kidnapped by them on September 12.

The gangsters were hardcore criminals of Uttar Pradesh, carrying their criminal activities in UP, Uttaranchal and Haryana, Patiala SSP Parmod Bhan said at a press conference here.

The gangsters they were identified as Sukhdev Singh alias Ladi of Lakhimpur in UP, Rajinder Singh alias Raju of Nazibabad in Uttaranchal and Mukhtiar Singh of Udham Singh Nagar also in Uttaranchal.
