JIPMER employees celebrate victory

Puducherry, Sep 29 (UNI) JIPMER employees today burst crackers to celebrate their 'victory', following the Madras High Court granting an interim stay on conferring autonomous status to the institution.

The general body meeting of the employees union was scheduled to be held here this evening and expected to resume their duty from first shift tomorrow, calling off 22-day strike.
