I'm not vindictive, says CM

Shimla, Sep 29 (UNI) Asserting that the state government was collecting concrete evidence against former chief minister P K Dhumal for his alleged role in the Rs 800 crore scam, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today denied that he was acting in a vindictive manner.

''I'm not acting in a vindictive manner like the previous BJP Government that tried to implicate me in false cases,'' he said at a press conference here, after launching the e-ticketing of Jagson Airlines.

Mr Singh said the Congress was voted to power to provide a transparent and an efficient government and not do a post mortem on the functioning of the previous government.

He said Congress' allegations of irregularities in the HP Subordinate Services Selection Board (HPSSSB) at Hamirpur had been proved with the conviction of the former board chairman.
