Heavy load shedding hits Nagaland

Kohima Sept 29: The entire state of Nagaland is badly hit since the last two days following heavy load shedding throughout the state.

According to the Chief Engineer of Power there has been drastic reduction in allocation of power to the state due to low generation by Hydro power stations and there the department has no option by to resort to heavy load shedding throughout the state.

He also informed that the power supply position was likely to worsen in the coming months due to poor monsoon. The department has appealed to the power consumers and public in general to bear with the inconvenience.
