Haj Committee announces foreign exchange limit

Chandigarh, Sep 29 (UNI) The Indian Haj Committee has announced the foreign exchange limit for the different categories of Haj pilgrims 2006-II.

Haryana Haj Committee Chief Executive Officer M K Midda said here today that as per the limits fixed for foreign exchange, the Hajis availing first class accomodation would have to deposit Rs 66,536, for second class Rs 60,306 for third and Sisa class Rs 53,453 and for Ajijiya Rs 45,977.

The pilgrims for Haj 2006-II would have to deposit Rs 12,000 for the air fare. Any change made in this would be communicated to the pilgrims.
