Guv wishes Mamata speedy recovery

Kolkata, Sep 29 (UNI) West Bengal Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi has sent Trinamool Congress Chief Mamata Banerjee a letter wishing her a speedy recovery.

The Governor took detailed information from the doctors attending Ms Banerjee about her condition.

Ms Banerjee was admitted to a city nursing home yesterday after she complained of chest pain and breathlessness.

She was rushed to a hospital after she experienced pain while breathing and was given oxygen and saline, said party general secretary Mukul Roy.

He said the party supremo was suffering from severe chest pain, respiratory trouble and haematoma due to the 'injury' she suffered during a scuffle with state police while staging a dharna at Singur on September 25.

'' The pain and the breathlessness is a result of the injury she received at Singur,'' Mr Roy said.
