Guru a non-combatant: PoK-based UJC

Srinagar, Sep 29 (UNI) The Muzaffarabad-based United Jihad Council (UJC), an umbrella organisation of several militant outfits operating in Jammu and Kashmir, has warned of ''dire consequences'' in case Mohammad Afzal Guru was executed.

A spokesman of the UJC, Sadaqat Hussain, in a statement to the local media here, described Guru as a non-combatant.

The UJC is headed by Hizbul Mujahideen supremo Syed Salahuddin.
