Five forest officials injured in attack

Barwani, MP, Sep 29 (UNI) Five forest officials were injured when a forest department team was attacked by unidentified timberwood smugglers in this district, official source said today.

Sendhwa Divisional Forest Officer R S Alawa said the team had gone to nab timberwood thieves in Shahpura and Hingwa area last night when the accused stoned them.

The smugglers escaped after the team opened fire in air and left behind timber and cycle.
