Family members of Karbala victims return

Hyderabad, Sep 29 (UNI) Family members of three Shia Muslims who were murdered in Karbala while on a pilgrimage, today reached hyderabad.

Ahmed Ali of Hyderabad, Mohiuddin Baig of Ghatkesar in Nalgonda and Massadi of East Godavari set out on the pilgrimage along with 12 women of their families on August 23.

They entered Iraq in a mini bus from the Sirian capital, Demascus.

Terrorists way laid the bus, sent away the women after seizing their gold ornaments, cash and passports and shot the three men.

The return of the bereaved family members was delayed as they did not have passports. The last rites of the deceased were performed at Karbala itself.

The relatives said they lost their dear ones because of the travel plan drawn by the travel agent, who had chosen the route despite knowing that it was dangerous.
