Dry weather in Delhi
New Delhi, Sep 29 (UNI) Mainly dry weather prevailed in Delhi today even though cool North Westerly winds continued to provide relief from warm and humid conditions of the previous week.
Though the Sun shone bright in the sky, the Northwesterlies winds led to a drop in maximum temperature to 34.8 degree Celsius, from yesterday's 35.5 degree C.
With the South West Monsoon withdrawing from most parts of North West India on Wednesday, dry weather has prevailed in Delhi for the last few days.
The Weatherman said the dryness in the weather is likely to prevail in the coming weeks. The coming days could, however, witness a drop in maximum temperature, making weather cooler.
The met office has forecast Delhi's sky to be mainly dear.
during the next 24 hours.
Dry weather has prevailed in Delhi after last week's short burst of moderate showers in the capital, which brought about a shjarp drop in mercury.
