New Delhi, Sep 29 (UNI) Secretary in the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) Ajay Dua is contesting election for presidentship of the prestigious Delhi Golf Course pinning his hopes on 110 senior bureaucrats who are A members of the club and are keen golfers.

Dr Dua is fighting keenly contested election against sitting President Vice Admiral (Retd) K K Kohli who is banking on support from golfers from the services.

Of the 900 A category members who hold the voting rights, 110 are senior members and just about similar number is from the services.

Rest are in the 'business' category which includes retired bureaucrats, whose support could prove crucial for Dr Dua.

Home Secretary V K Duggal, a member of the club, has also pledged his support for his IAS colleague, said Dr Dua.
